several people in facebook asked me whether am i from Kedah or something because i use a lot of hang in the conversation. at the beginning, it was actually apart of tactic whenever i felt uncomfortable when people wanted to start the conversation with me using i-you-i-you. it is fine with the girls but guys, awkward baq hang. so as they started using i-you-i-you, i will reply by replace it to hang. it was not really that obvious than just straight right up using the kau-aku or else they will simply condemn me as kasar-unfriendly-kuajaq. because of the frequent use of the hang and basic Kedah accent in a daily conversation on fb, i have used to it and i simply continue using it with almost everyone.
